October
October: We went on our honeymoon, returned to Toronto to pack for our move to San Francisco, and I had a birthday.
This month was far less stressful than September, though it was still hectic and I hardly had a chance to breathe and relax.
Honeymoon had many moments of rest and relaxation but just as many moments of running around trying not to miss trains, and more walking and hiking than I would have liked. It was a good time regardless. The best meals of my life were had in small towns like Cinque Terre, and bigger food obsessed cities like Bologna. It was romantic, fun, exciting, and absolutely breathtaking. We started our two week vacation in Rome, followed by Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Venice, Bologna and back to Rome. Of all the places we visited, I absolutely loved Cinque Terre. Ian and I might just have to retire there. It's an incredible place with its quaint towns composed of colorful houses built on mountain sides, facing the Mediterranean. It has lovely sunsets, amazing food, breathtaking views and nature.
After our 2 week vacation, we came back home to Toby and Butters, who were being cared for my our dear friend Kendra. We were together again as a family briefly before I took off to San Francisco with Butters to apartment hunt, while Ian worked remotely and coordinated the move of our things to SF.
Here's a gorgeous view of Manarola, one of the Cinque Terres:

Where do I begin ... September
September, October and November. It all happened so fast that I'm only now finding the time to reflect on them and the events that transpired.
September: I lived in Toronto and got married in Toronto. My ceremony was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. The planning, however, was a total nightmare filled with anxiety and stress.
Planning my wedding alone for 56 people in 6 months was probably the most difficult thing I've ever done. Some of my set backs included having my wedding dress turn out to be a disaster and finding that I had nothing to wear 2 days before my wedding, having one bridesmaids not able to take the day off work and the other stuck in NYC unable to enter Canada due to her expired passport, no bridesmaids attended my wedding rehearsal, no one from my bridal party show up at the hair salon on my wedding day because my mother and aunt got lost and bridesmaids were MIA, cellphone died on my wedding day so I was not able to reach anyone and no one was able to reach me, the wedding cake was a tilting disaster, bad weather over Toronto resulted in canceled flights meaning that my immediate family barely made it to my wedding in time, and finally, being the procrastinator that I am, I left too many things to the last minute resulting in me getting about 3 hours of sleep every night two weeks leading up to the wedding. I think that's the longest sentence I've ever written.
Yet through some miracle, it turned out beautifully. Though it could have gone smoother, both my bridesmaids actually made it to the wedding, my mother and aunt were there to attended to all my needs, and my family and friends arrived despite bad weather. Because of everyone's love and support, the wedding turned out to be spectacular, and for that I am most grateful. I really could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. It was the most fun I've ever had! That was my September.
And this was my wedding:

Food in San Francisco is delicious! It's good to be an omnivore out here.
